My stay at Riad Dar Balthazar was a delightful blend of comfort and cultural immersion. The personal service at this elegant riad truly stood out, from the airport shuttle waiting for us upon arrival to the warm hospitality of the staff throughout our stay. Jamila's kindness and assistance in making our visit memorable was truly appreciated. The location couldn't have been more ideal, just a short walk from the main sights, museums, and bustling souks of the Medina.The rooms were beautifully decorated, boasting traditional Moroccan tiles in the bathroom and a balcony overlooking the charming courtyard and fountain. The on-site chef delighted us with characteristic Moroccan meals upon request, adding a delicious touch to our experience. The rooftop terrace offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the medina, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.Breakfast, although delightful with fresh bread and amazing jams, could be improved with a selection of fresh fruits. However, the accommodating staff made up for it with their helpfulness and willingness to assist with organizing tours and transfers. Free WiFi in public areas and a computer with internet access were convenient amenities to have during our stay.Dar Balthazar provided a serene oasis in the bustling Medina, with its lovely courtyard, roof terrace, and outdoor pool adding to the tranquil atmosphere. It was a pleasure to soak in the rich history and sights of Marrakech, knowing we had a comfortable and welcoming retreat to return to each day. My visit was enhanced by the company of my fellow musicians, who shared in the joy of discovering the fusion of African and Mediterranean culture in this enchanting city.
